HUBUNGAN PELAKSANAAN PRENATAL YOGA TERHADAP LAMANYA KALA I PADA IBU BERSALIN DI BPM PUSKESMAS KENTEN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2019

Abstract

Childbirth is process of expulsion of fetus, placenta, and membrane from inside uterus through birth canal, childbirth process is affected by factor namely power, passage, passanger, psychological and helper. Pra survey result  obtained on december 2020 reached 181 where birth mother who experiences length of tense i normally got 124 people and experiencing tense i elongated reached 57 people. The aims of this research is to find out the correlation of the implementation of prenatal yoga in length of tense i for birth mother. Research method used quantitative with cross sectional approach. The population is all birth mothers who follow prenatal yoga in bunda ceria apprentice are 181 people with total sampling technique. Data analysis used chi-square. The result of research obtained frequency distribution got mother giving birth experiences tense i normally is 121 respondents (97.6%) who did implentation yoga  and 3 respondents (2.4%) who didn’t do implentation yoga whereas the mother giving birth experiences tense i alongated is 6 respondents (10.5%) who did yoga and 51 respondents (89.5%) didn’t do it. There is a correlation of prenatal yoga in length of tense i for birth mother in bunda ceria apprentice palembang with ρ-value = 0,00 so that p - < α = 0,05. Expected to medical talent can increase counseling to pregnant mother’s class especially about the essential of prenatal yoga also benefits that can be felt by expectant namely, able to decrease fear of mother when face childbirth, toning the body, relax the muscles and facilitating childbirth.
