HUBUNGAN ANTARA USIA DAN PEKERJAAN TERHADAP KELENGKAPAN KUNJUNGAN K4 PADA IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS MERDEKA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2019
Abstract
Antenatal care or antenatal care is a service provided to pregnant women by carrying out pregnancy checks and monitoring to optimize the mental and physical health of pregnant women so that they are able to face childbirth, postpartum, preparation for breastfeeding and the return of normal reproductive health. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and occupation on the completeness of K4 visits for pregnant women at Public Health Palembang Merdeka 2019. The research method used an analytical survey research design using a cross sectional approach. The population taken were all third trimester pregnant women who visited Public Health Palembang Merdeka 2019 with the Simple random sampling method, totaling 184 respondents. The results of the univariate analysis showed that there were 134 (72.8%), third trimester pregnant women who made K4 visits > 4 times, 155 people (84.2%) and third trimester pregnant women who did not work. totaled 115 people (62.5%). The results of the bivariate analysis found that there was a significant relationship between age and completeness of K4 visits for pregnant women (p value = 0.00), there was a significant relationship between work and completeness of K4 visits for pregnant women (p value = 0.002). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between age and occupation on the completeness of K4 visits for pregnant women at Public Health Palembang Merdeka 2019. Suggestions for health workers are expected to be able to maintain and improve the quality of services in providing services to pregnant women and add counseling about the importance of conducting K4 visits during pregnancy.
