Abstract

According to WHO data based acceptors Injectable namely Indonesia as the largest (33.1%) and Implant as many (6%). The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the high prevalence rate Injectable Contraceptives KB three months in Midwives Practice Mandiri Palembang Megawati year 2015. This study used quantitative research design with cross sectional design approach is done by taking accidental sampling technique and the use of dataPrimary obtained directly from respondents. The population in this study are all mothers who come to visit BPM Megawati to obtain contraceptive services when the study was conducted as many as 70 people. The results showed 70 respondents found respondents who use injectable contraception three months by 52 people (74.3%), and 18 (25.7%) did not use injectable contraceptives three months, acceptor good knowledge of 3 (4.3%), acceptors knowledgeable enough for 21 people (30%), and acceptor less knowledgeable by 46 people (65.7%), acceptor aged risk by 35 people (0%), and acceptors have been no risk by 35 people (50%), acceptor socioeconomic up by 0 votes (0%), acceptor middle socioeconomic by 27 people (38.6%), and acceptor lower socioeconomic by 43 people (61.4%), acceptors are educated by 32 people (45.7%), and acceptor and less educated by 38 people (54.3%), there was a significant relationship between knowledge with the use of injectable contraceptives where p value = 0,002 <α = 0.05, there is a significant correlation between age and the use of injectable contraceptives where p value = 0,003 < α = 0.05, there was a significant association between the use of contraception socioeconomic suntiks where p value = 0.013 <α = 0.05, there was a significant association between education and the use of injectable contraceptives where p value = 0,010 <α = 0.05
