FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI RENDAHNYA PEMILIHAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI DALAM RAHIM DI PUSKESMAS BOOM BARU PALEMBANG TAHUN 2016

Abstract

The IUD is an effective contraceptive method with the special advantage that once the IUD is placed, no further motivation, effort or equipment for continuation of contraception is required. To find out what factors influenced the low selection of contraception in uterus in public health center of Boom Baru Palembang in 2016. This research method using quantitative research method with cross sectional approach, with samples of 33 respondents and analysis using chi square formula. The results of each variable indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between IUD selection with knowledge, education and socioeconomic. The results of the statistics show that there is a relationship between knowledge with the choice of contraceptive devices in the womb with P value 0.001. In educational variables there is a relationship with the selection of contraceptive devices in the womb with P value 0.004. While in the socio-economic relationship found the results of P value 0.002. Of the three independent variables mentioned above can be drawn the conclusion that the meaning of meaningful connection of contraceptive devices in uterus to knowledge, education and social economy. Researchers provide advice to relevant agencies and to officers on duty to conduct counseling to increase public knowledge about contraceptive devices in the womb in order to be selected from various types of contraceptives available. And to acceptors should before choosing and using contraceptives should consult first. To colleagues who want to do similar research to further develop the space and scope.
