FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI IBU NIFAS DALAM MENGKONSUMSI VITAMIN A DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS DEMPO DI RT 11 DAN RT 12 DI KELURAHAN 14 ILIR PALEMBANG TAHUN 2017
Abstract
Vitamin A is a vitamin that functions in the system of vision, immune function and function of reproductive function. The purpose of this study to determine the factors that affect postpartum mother in taking vitamins. The type of research used in this study is an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. Factors studied in this study are knowledge and education. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. Hasul univariate analysis obtained respondents who consume vitamin A amounted to 22 people (37.3%) more than the respondents who did not consume amounted to 8 people (26.7%). Knowledgeable mother numbered 14 people (46,7%) more compared with respondents with knowledge less 4 people (13,3%). Mothers with high education amounted to 22 people (73.3%) more than those with low education amounted to 8 people (26.7%). There is a significant relationship between knowledge (ρ value 0,000), education (ρ value 0.001) by taking vitamin A. Advice for puskesmas Dempo is expected to increase mother's knowledge level about vitamin A by improving counseling and giving health education in order to assisting health workers in improving community knowledge.
