Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease because it is not normally carbohydrate metabolism that occurs throughout life. Epidemiologic diabetes is often undetectable and it is said onset or onset of Diabetes Mellitus is 7 years before the diagnosis is established, so early morbidity and motility occur in this undetectable case . Knowledgeable Knowledge of any factors that can affect patient compliance Diabetes Mellitus against diet therapy In Instalasisi Outpatient Poly Hospital Tk. II Dr. Ak Gani Palembang Year The purpose of this study to determine what factors that can affect patient compliance Diabetes Mellitus to diet therapy In Instalasisi Outpatient Poly Hospital Tk. II Dr. Ak Gani Palembang Year 2017. This research uses this research using quantitative approach by using analytic survey method. The research design used in this research is cross sectional. A cross sectional study design study is a research design that all variables are observed or collected simultaneously in the same time category of dependent variable and independent variable, and with Chi Square test to know whether or not the relationship between dependent variable with independent variable. The result of bivariate analysis found that there is A meaningful relationship between Based on statistical test with Chie Square test got value p value = 0.004 this means there is relationship between education with adherence of diabetes mellitus patient to diet therapy. There is correlation between attitudes with patient compliance diabetes melitus to diet therapy value p value = 0,007, there is correlation between counseling of health officer with patient compliance diabetes melitus to diet therapy value p value = 0,013, there is relation between family support to patient compliance diabetes mellitus to therapy Diet p value = 0,028, hope for future specific discussion Nursing Care in Medical Nursing Surgery on Diet therapy in patients with diabetes mellitus.
