EVALUASI PENYULUHAN TENTANG CUCI TANGAN PAKAI SABUN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PADA SD CHARITAS GUMAWANG UPTD PUSKESMAS GUMAWANG KABUPATEN OKU TIMUR TAHUN 2016

Abstract

Handwashing is one of the actions of sanitation by cleaning hands and fingers with soap and water by humans to be more clean and break the chain of germs.The research method using a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design. The study population was elementary students CharitasGumawang East OKU District, with a total sample of 91 students. Statistic test used T-Dependent (paired T-test).Univariate analysis showed that the average knowledge about washing Handwashing before being given counseling (pre-test) was 4.19 with a standard deviation of 1.849, while after being given counseling (post-test) menigkat be 6.09 with a standard deviation of 1.723. Bivariate analysis showed no effect of counseling on CTPS before and after the SD CharitasGumawang UPTD Gumawang OKU District Health Center East in 2016 with a p value of 0.000.Research is expected the council teachers can model the practice of CTPS to students. In addition, for puskesmasGumawang can make cooperation with the school to provide health education. And it is expected for future studies in conducting the research does not disrupt student learning hours.
