PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DENGAN METODE INDIVIDUAL CARA PERAWATAN PAYUDARA TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU POSTPARTUM DI RUMAH SAKIT BERSALIN ANANDA PLAJU PALEMBANG TAHUN 2013

Abstract

Breast care is treat breast mothers prepares the breasts as a producer of breastmilk as well as it clean an technics her treatment. Breast care is done aims for expedite the circulation blood and to prevent blockage of duct the milk so that smoothen outlay breastmilk. Of course in breast care who good obtained from knowledge who good anyway. The aim of this study was to determine the the influence of health education with individual method on breast care to the knowledge of postpartum mothers at Ananda Maternity Hospital Plaju Palembang in 2013. This research was a Quasi Experimental method (Pre-experiment) with the data collection methods are conducted observation and questionnaires. This research design was Quasi Experimental. How to take the samples of this study used accidental sampling. This research was conducted on a sample of  postpartum mothers at Ananda Maternity Hospital Plaju Palembang totally 20 people. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon. The results of this study found the influence of health education with individual methods on breast care to the knowledge postpartum mothers at Ananda Maternity Hospital Plaju Palembang (p Value = 0.000 α <= 0.05), so Ho is rejected, there is a significant effect. As well as the average value of knowledge mother before being given health education was 12.00 while after being given health education increased to 18.00. The conclusion of this study found the influence of health education with individual methods on breast care to the knowledge postpartum mothers.
