FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PEMILIHAN METODE KONTRASEPSI ALAT KONTRASEPSI DALAM RAHIM DI PUSKESMAS BOOM BARU PALEMBANG TAHUN 2015

Abstract

The IUD is an effective contraceptive method with a particular advantage that once the IUD placed, is not required further motivation, effort, or equipment for the continuation of contraception. The purpose of this study was to determine the Factors Associated with Contraceptive Method Selection Contraceptives In Rahim in Puskesmas Boom Baru Palembang 2015. This research method using quantitative research methods with cross sectional approach, with a sampling technique that with a sample size of 30 respondents and Data collection techniques using sheet questionnaires, to determine the relationship between the variables bivariate analysis using chi square formula. The results of each of the variables showed that there was a significant association between IUD use with age, parity and knowledge. Statistical test results showed that IUD use against age with P value of 0.035. IUD towards parity with the P value of 0.001. While the IUD to knowledge results obtained P value of 0.001. Of the three independent variables mentioned above can be concluded that there is a meaningful relationship IUD use to age, parity and knowledge. Researchers provide advice to the relevant agencies and to officers for providing extension area in order to increase public knowledge about intrauterine devices that can be selected from various types of contraceptives available. And the acceptor should before choosing and using contraception you should do prior consultation. To colleagues who want to do similar research to further develop space and scope.
