HUBUNGAN UMUR IBU DAN PARITAS TERHADAP TERJADINYA BERAT BADAN LAHIR RENDAH (BBLR) DI RUMAH SAKIT MUHAMMADIYAH PALEMBANG TAHUN 2016
Abstract
Low birth weight infant with birth weight less than 2500 grams. The WHO estimates that nearly all (98%) of 5 milion neonatal deaths accur in developing countries. According to data from the health department of Palembang city, the birth rate of low birth weight in 2012 as much as 205 per 1.000 live births. The cause of low birth weight is preterm birth, maternal age, parity, placental factors, fetal and environmental factors. This study aims to determine the relationship of the mother’s age and parity against the occurrence of low birth weight in hospitals muhammadiyah Palembang in 2015. The design of this research is analytic survey with cross sectional approach where all maternity hospital spontaneous muhammadiyah Palembang in 2015 which amounted to 411 people with a large sample as many as 205 people were taken by systematic random sampling technique, the research instrument that check list. Data analysis of univariate and bivariate. The results showed 205 maternal low birth weight obtained 109 votes (53,2%) who have a high risk mothers age 76 with the incidence of low brith weight (64,1%). Of the chi-square test statistic comparing the p value of the significance level α = 0,05 indicates thet there is a significant correlation between maternal age p value (0,00) and parity p value (0,02) with the occurrence of low brith weight at muhammadiyah Palembang 2016. From these results it can be concluded that women with a high risk age and high parity more give brith to babies with low birth weight compared tp low risk.
