TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU POSTPARTUM PRIMIPARA TENTANG PERAWATAN PAYUDARA
Abstract
According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than 1.4 million people diagnosed with breast mastitis. Perawatan (breast care) for postpartum mothers who breastfeed is one way to support breastfeeding (ASI) for the beloved baby. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about the primiparous postpartum maternal breast care in BPS Susilawati, AM.Keb Palembang 2014. Type of research is descriptive study was conducted on all kuantitatif.Penelitian maternal postpartum primipara in BPS Susilawati, AM. Keb Palembang in February 2014 with a sample size of 30 respondents. The result showed the majority of maternal education post partum primiparous SMP is 12 people (40%), the majority of mothers postpartum primipara not do breast care, namely 21 respondents (70%), and most mothers postpartum primipara less knowledgeable that 18 respondents ( 60%). Suggestions in this study is expected to health workers to further improve services to pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum and provide health education particularly on breast care to mothers postpartum primipara.
