FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PENYAPIHAN ANAK USIA KURANG DARI 2 TAHUN DI DESA PUSAR KECAMATAN BATURAJA BARAT KABUPATEN OKU TAHUN 2017

Abstract

The percentage of exclusively breastfed infants up to 6 months was only 15.3%. This is due to public awareness in encouraging the increase of breastfeeding is still relatively low. The low level of understanding about the importance of breastfeeding during the first 6 months of infant birth is due to a lack of information and knowledge that mothers have about the nutrients and benefits contained in breast milk. In addition, working mother habits also support low breastfeeding rates. This research use analytical method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who have infants aged 2-5 years in Pusar Village District West Baturaja OKU District 2017 amounted to 58 people. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using distribution tables and Chi-Square statistical test, with 95% confidence degree. In bivariate analysis was found There is a significant relationship between the work with weaning in children aged less than 2 years with a value of p value 0.047, there is a significant relationship between the distance of pregnancy with weaning in children aged less than 2 years with a value of p value 0.009 and there is a relationship Which means between family support and weaning for children less than 2 years old with p value 0.036.
