HUBUNGAN PENERAPAN KAWASAN TANPA ROKOK (KTR) DENGAN PERILAKU MEROKOK MAHASISWA KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT DI KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2018
Abstract
World tobacco epidemic data according to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2008) shows that 1 death due to tobacco worldwide occurs every 6 seconds. The results of the 2013 Riskesdas report show that the smoking behavior of residents 15 years and over has not decreased from 2007 to 2013, tends to increase from 34.2 percent to 36.3. To control this, the government issued (UU) no. 36 of 2009 concerning health, Instruction of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 4/U/1997 concerning smoke-free school environments, and Joint Decree of the Minister of Health and Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 188/MENKES/PB/I/2011 concerning guidelines for implementing KTR. The lack of optimal implementation of No-Smoking Areas has resulted in smokers still being found smoking in Non-Smoking Areas. The aim of this research is to resulted in smokers still being found smoking in Non-Smoking Areas. The aim of this research is to public health students in the city of Palembang. This research is a descriptive analytical study with a cross sectional approach. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. The sample for this research was 100 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used chi square for bivariate analysis with a significance level of 95%. 44% of students smoke and 56% of students do not smoke. The results showed that there was no relationship between age (p=0.082), knowledge of KTR (p=0.803), physical implementation of KTR (p=0.070), non-physical implementation of KTR (p=0.813), coaching of KTR (p=0.993), supervision KTR (p=0.520), KTR rewards (p=1.00), KTR sanctions (p=246) with smoking behavior of health students, and there is a relationship between gender (p=0.0001) and KTR attitudes (p=0.011 ) with the smoking behavior of public health studen.
