HUBUNGAN UMUR DAN PARITAS DENGAN KEJADIAN KANKER (CA) SERVIKS DI RUMAH SAKIT MUHAMMADIYAH PALEMBANG TAHUN 2017
Abstract
Cervical cancer is an abnormal growth of a cell or tissue in which the cell or tissue grow and develop uncontrollably. According to data from the medical record in Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang, the incidence of cervical cancer in the three years experienced a rise. In 2015 as many as 20 patients, in 2016 increased to 40 patients, and in 2017 increased to 56 patients. The aim of this study was to determine the association between age and mother’s parity with cervical cancer incidence in Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang 2017. This research used analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population is all women with cervical cancer in the inpatient installation of gynecology section in Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang in 2017 using sampling method from total population. Univariate analysis obtained that respondents with cervical cancer as many as 33 respondents (58,9%), while the respondents who have at-risk age as many as 34 respondents (60,7%), while respondents who have high parity as many as 31 respondents (55,4%). From the statistical test Chi-Square for mother’s aged obtained p value 0,023 ≤ α (0,05) obtained parity p value 0,041 ≤ α (0,05) means there is significant relationship with cervical cancer incidence. The conclusion of this reseatch stated that there is no significant relationship between mother’s age and parity with the incidence of cervical cancer in Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang in 2017.
