PENGETAHUAN IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA DENGAN PERILAKU PERAWATAN PAYUDARA SAAT HAMIL DI UPTD PUSKESMAS TANJUNG AGUNG TAHUN 2018

Abstract

Breast care is one important part that must be considered as preparation for breastfeeding later, this is because the breast is the essential organ of breastfeeding is the staple food of newborns so that care should be done as early as possible. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of knowledge primigravida mother with breast care behavior during pregnancy. This research use analytical method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all primigravida pregnant women at UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung AgungOKU period January – March Regency of 2018. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using distribution tables and Chi-Square statistical test, with 95% confidence degree.In univariate analysis, it was found that 39 respondents who did breast treatment were 15 people (38,5%) and who did not do breast treatment as much as 24 people (61,5%), respondents who have high knowledge as much as 16 people (41,0% ) And incomplete that have low knowledge as many as 23 people (59,0%). In bivariate analysis found there is relationship of knowledge of mother primigravida with behavior of breast care at pregnant mother at UPTD Tanjung Agung  Public Health Center 2016 with p value 0,002.There is relationship of knowledge of mother primigravida with behavior of breast care in pregnant mother.
