HUBUNGAN JARAK KEHAMILAN DAN UMUR DENGAN KEJADIAN ABORTUS PADA IBU HAMIL DI RUMAH SAKIT MUHAMMADIYAH PALEMBANG TAHUN 2014
Abstract
WHO estimates that worldwide, 46 million births per year there are 20 million abortion. Approximately 13% of the total number of maternal deaths worldwide caused by abortion complications, including 800 women died from complications of abortion and at least 95% 19 of all 20 acts of abortion) which occur in developing countries. Abortion in Indonesia every year there are 2 million cases. This means that there are 43 cases of abortions per 100 live births. According to the population census of 2000, there were 53,783,717 women aged 15-49 years, and of that number there are 23 cases of abortions per 100 live births. This study uses a quantitative research design with cross sectional design approach. Population and sample in this study were pregnant women recorded in the medical record Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang Year 2014, which amounted to 348 people. Analysis of the data used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of this study showed that most respondents do not experience abortion as many as 261 people (75.0%), pregnancy spacing not risk as much as 193 people (55.5%) and a lower risk of age as many as 223 people (64.1%). Based on the analysis chi-square test found no significant relationship between spaced pregnancies with abortion in Hospital Muhammadiyah Palembang Year 2014 (ρvalue = 0.025). There is significant correlation between age and the incidence of abortion in Hospital Muhammadiyah Palembang Year 2014 (ρvalue = 0.001). It is advisable to carry out treatment and early detection of pregnant women with risk factors for abortion with regular follow-up and clear advice. Importance is given counseling and information about the signs, risk factors and complications in mothers and babies born.
