Abstract

Rapid test is a chromatographic immunoassay using "direct sandwich".Rapid testis a basic principle of the binding of antigen by specific monoclonal antibody which is one of the basic qualitative methods in the determination of HBsAg, this method is widely used by clinical laboratories because it has many advantages when compared with enzyme immunoassay method. Reversed the rapid test (Immunochromatographic method) has disadvantage that the concentration readings. ELFA is a method of inspection using automated tools immunolyser the Mini Vidas. In the technique ELFA, HBsAg was detected by fluorescence intensity of samples after adding the substrate (4-methylumbelliferylphosphate) containing fluorescence. ELFA method has high sensitivity and specificity, the sensitivity and specificity of HBsAg reaching 100%. The study, conducted from June 27, 2011 to July 27, 2011, collected 76 samples at the request of a patient's clinical physicians (Non Followup). Results obtained in this study is the examination by the method of Rapid HBsAg Test (Immunochromatographic) has a 91,30% of sensitivity, 98.11% of specificity value, 95.45% of positive expected value, 96.30% negative expected value, positive likelihood ratio was 46,57 and negative likelihood ratio was 0.09.
