PELAKSANAAN PRENATAL YOGA TERHADAP LAMANYA KALA II PADA IBU BERSALIN DI BPM YUSIDA EDWARD PALEMBANG TAHUN 2021
Abstract
Childbirth is the process of leaving the fetus, placenta, and lining from the uterus through the birth canal, the delivery process is influenced by factors, namely power, travel, passengers, psychology and helpers. The results of the pre-survey were obtained in December 2021, where there were 158 mothers who experienced stage II and had elongated stage II there were 23 people. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the implementation of prenatal yoga on stage II in laboring mothers. The research method used quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population of the study were all women who participated in prenatal yoga at BPM Yusida Edward as many as 181 people with total sampling technique. Data analysis using Chi-square. The results showed that the frequency distribution of mothers who gave birth experienced normal stage II 85 (53.8%) with the implementation of yoga 73 (46.2%) and mothers who gave birth experienced prolonged stage II (17.4%) who did not do yoga. 19 (82.6%). There is a relationship between prenatal yoga and stage II limitations in mothers giving birth at BPM Yusida Edward Palembang with p-value = 0.000 so that p- <α = 0.05. It is hoped that health workers can increase education to pregnant women, especially about the importance of prenatal yoga and the benefits that can be felt by pregnant women, namely, it can reduce the fear of mothers who will face labor, tone the body, relax stiff muscles and accelerate the labor process.
