HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI TERHADAP KEPATUHAN IBU HAMIL DALAM MELAKUKAN PEMERIKSAAN KEHAMILAN DI BPM Hj. ZUNIAWATI PALEMBANG TAHUN 2020

Abstract

The causes of AKI can be reduced and prevented through the provision of routine and quality prenatal care to detect early abnormalities and complications. Husband's knowledge and support has an important role to encourage mothers to be more active in checking their pregnancy with health workers. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and husband's support for the compliance of pregnant women in carrying out pregnancy checks at BPM Hj. Zuniawati Palembang Year 2020. The research method uses an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach which is a research design by measuring or observing at the same time between the dependent variable (obedience of pregnant women in carrying out pregnancy checks) and the independent variable (knowledge and support of husband). The population in this study were all pregnant women whose data were submitted to BPM Hj. Zuniawati Palembang in 2020 in December totaled 30 respondents using the accidental sampling method, this study used primary data with research instruments using questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by univariate analysis and bivariate analysis by chi square test. The results of this study showed that there were 27 (90.0 percent) respondents who were obedient for pregnancy check-ups. Knowledge of husband is good as many as 21 (70.0 percent) respondents. Husbands who support more than 27 (90.0 percent) respondents. The results of the chi-square statistical test showed that there was no relationship between husband's knowledge and p-value (0.144) and there was a relationship between husband's support and p-value (0.001) on the compliance of pregnant women in conducting prenatal care. Suggestions for health workers at BPM Hj. Zuniawati is expected to be able to improve the quality and quality of various service systems as well as increase efforts in Antenatal Care services, and provide health promotion to people who visit BPM Hj. Zuniawati Palembang by conducting health education about pregnancy.
