HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENDIDIKAN, USIA DAN PEKERJAAN DENGAN KUNJUNGAN ANTENATAL CARE (ANC) DI BPM YUSIDA EDWARD PALEMBANG TAHUN 2020

Abstract

Factor that influences Antenatal Care (ANC) visit is that it can reduce maternal and fetal disability and mortality. Because Antenatal Care (ANC) is a health care that  proposed to pregnant woman before and during pregnancy with the aim of detecting early maternal and fetal health problem. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a correlation between education, age and mother’s occupation with Antenatal Care (ANC) visit. The method used was analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population taken was all pregnant women who visited Antenatal Care (ANC) at BPM Yusida Edward amount 517 people. Sampling used the Random Sampling method with 226 people. From the results of the univariate analysis obtained that mothers who visited ANC (86,7%) more than mothers who did not visit ANC (13,3%), mother who has high education is (78.3%) more than mother with low education (21,7%), the age of mother at low risk (86,7%) more than the age of mother at high risk (13,3%), mother who did not work (84,1%) while mother who workes is (15,9 %). From the Chi Square Test reached that there is correlation between Education and ANC Visit (p value = 0,000), and the correlation between age and ANC Visit (p value = 0.008), and the correlation between occupation and ANC Visit (p value = 0,013). Suggested to medic in the Midwife of Yusida Edward apprentice Palembang to be able to maintain and improve the quality of services for pregnant woman and increasing counseling about the importance of Antenatal Care (ANC) visit to them.
