HUBUNGAN PERSONAL HYGIENE DENGAN KONTAMINASI TELUR CACING PADA KUKU SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR MUHAMMADIYAH 16 PALEMBANG TAHUN 2018
Abstract
Worms are one of the environmental-based diseases that are still a problem for public health in Indonesia today. This is because the prevalence of worms in Indonesia is still high, especially worms caused by a number of stomach worms that are transmitted through the soil or called Soil Transmitted Helminths. Among these worms, the most important are roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides), hookworms (Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus) and whipworms (Trichuris trichura). This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah 16 1 Palembang Elementary School with Juan to find out the relationship between personal hygiene goals and contamination of worm eggs on the nails of Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang Elementary School students in 2013. The design of this study was descriptive analytic, namely by conducting interviews followed by observation and conducting interviews. Laboratory test to determine the presence of worm eggs on the nails of Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang Elementary School students in 2013. This study used a cross-sectional research approach. The population was 213 people with a total sample of 20% from each class of 57 using random samples or random samples. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between attitudes and contamination of worm eggs on the nails of Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang Elementary School students in 2013 obtained a P value (0.000), there is a relationship between knowledge and contamination of worm eggs on the nails of Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang Elementary School students in 2013 obtained a P value ( 0.000), there is a relationship between action and contamination of worm eggs on the nails of students of Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang Elementary School in 2013 obtained a P-value (0.000), so the conclusion is that there is a relationship between personal hygiene and contamination of worm eggs on the nails of Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang Elementary School students in 2013.
